Hi there!

My name is Jamie Vega and I have stepped up to serve as Chair & Liaison to the National Office on our board of directors. I am a permaculturist, market farmer, and health food access advocate from York County, SC. I volunteer at several nonprofits and schools in the city and throughout the greater Charlotte region.

Our new Vice-Chair & Communications Director is Terri Kreger, a local artisan baker. Jessica Turner, also an artisan baker as well as a photographer skilled in capturing the beauty of food, is our new Secretary & Treasurer. You will be hearing from all of us soon and often.

I'm excited to announce that our chapter will be very active this year! Thom Duncan, Steve Case and many other past leaders have supported the revival of our local chapter and continue to offer their assistance and expertise as we transition to a new leadership team.

We are all in this together, and we are counting on each and every one of you to grow this chapter and grow our community. We encourage you all to renew your membership so that you don't miss out on what's to come.

Our mission focus for 2017 will be announced and published on our website soon. In the meantime, I encourage you to register an account on this blog to subscribe (and hopefully write!). If you haven't already, please get connected through our social media channels. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions, concerns or ideas. I can be reached at jamie@wrenandlyre.com or 803-619-9736. Call or text me anytime!
